Before joining the University of Newcastle, Professor of Health Economics, Francesco has worked for Universities in Australia and overseas including the ANU, UWA, Erasmus, and the University of Bologna where he still teaches in the EU-HEM program. He has also worked for governments and industry on health reforms, recently as the Chief Advisor Health Reforms to Minister of Health in Chile in 2018, and as a member of the Italian Technical Committee for Allocation of National Health Budget.
