The program aims to improve service
Alibaba Cloud and Singapore Association of Convention & Exhibition Organizers & Suppliers (SACEOS) have signed an accord to encourage the program in the city with the use of the technology to boost the skills of the individuals and the organization they work in.
This new agreement will allow both stakeholders to formulate a plan to give the training in the field of artificial intelligence, big data and cloud this will strengthen the position of Singapore in the competitive industry of Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions (MICE) across Asia.
As of now, Singapore counts for 15% of MICE arrivals which represent 22% of the total spending for the first six months of 2018.
The president of SACEOS and CEO of Sing Ex Holdings, Aloysius Arlando said, “Singapore’s continued success as a business event and meeting destination is not just a product of the world-class infrastructure, connectivity, and attractions. Our industry is relentless in our collaboration to provide world-class and differentiated business events to make Singapore the global Asia node in the region.”
The use of Cloud in hospitality
This new joint venture will allow the Alibaba Cloud to share its expertise in data intelligence to deliver high traffic events and provide its associate at SACEOS to evaluate the Alibaba Cloud data intelligence solutions, which include the training and workshops for the members to get the first-hand experience on the technology.
